Turn Your Phone Into a Two-Way Radio.
No Extra Hardware Required.
Your team already carries phones. The Press2Talk Smartphone App puts them on the same network, the same talkgroups, and the same dispatcher screen as your hardware radios — with nothing to buy and no new devices to manage.
14-day free trial. No credit card. Devices arrive pre-programmed if you add hardware later.
It’s not a walkie-talkie app. It’s your fleet’s network — on a phone.
The Press2Talk Smartphone App runs on Android and iOS. It connects to the same P2T network as your M50K, T60K, and T65 hardware radios. App users can talk to radio users in the same talkgroup — no bridging, no delays, no workarounds.
This is not a third-party VOIP app bolted onto something else. It’s built for the P2T platform and managed from the same dashboard. If someone is in your talkgroup, you can hear them and they can hear you — regardless of whether they’re on a radio or a phone.
Your data stays on Australian servers. The same network that gives our hardware 100% uptime for 48+ months does exactly the same job for the app.

Does any of this sound familiar?
The app tends to solve for a specific frustration. If one of these is yours, you’re in the right place.
The depot supervisor who’s never in a vehicle
You need to be on channel all day — coordinating drivers, handling run changes, managing incidents. But you’re at a desk. The app puts you on the same talkgroup as every radio in the fleet, from your phone.
The operations manager whose staff already carry company phones
You have twenty people in the field. They all have company phones. Buying twenty more radios for them feels wasteful. The app makes their existing phones P2T devices on the same network — no extra hardware, no extra devices to charge and manage.
The business trialling P2T before committing to hardware
You want to see how the network performs before ordering devices. The app lets you run a live trial on phones you already own — real talkgroups, real coverage, the actual P2T network. If you want to add hardware after, it goes on the same system.
The mixed fleet — radios in the field, phones in the office
Some of your team carry hardware radios. Others — supervisors, admin, managers — carry phones. The app closes the gap: everyone is on the same channel, the same talkgroups, and the same dispatcher screen. No separate comms system for office staff, unless you waant it that way.
Everything you’d expect from a P2T device. On your phone.
The Smartphone App is a full member of the P2T network — not a lite version. Here’s what it does out of the box.
Group PTT calls
Same talkgroups as your hardware radios. App users are on channel with M50K, T60K, and T65 users simultaneously.
Individual (private) calls
Call a specific person on the network directly — radio user or app user. No extra configuration needed.
GPS location
App users appear on the Web Dispatcher map alongside hardware radio users. Real-time location with 36-month history retention.
Duress / SOS
One-press emergency alert with live location. Appears immediately in Web Dispatcher and, if you’ve designed it this way, to all users in the assigned channel.
Messaging
Send and receive text messages to individuals or talkgroups. Messages are stored on Australian servers, not a third-party cloud.
Voice recording & playback
Missed a call? Voice messages are stored and replay on demand. 36-month retention on Australian servers — same as hardware.
4G / LTE / WiFi
Works on any data connection — cellular or WiFi. Australia-wide coverage using the same network as the hardware range.
iOS and Android
Runs on any modern iPhone or Android phone. No specialist hardware needed. If your team already has company phones, they already have the hardware.
Voice recordings
App settings
Your app users and radio users are on the same network.
Not a workaround. Literally the same channel.
Most PTT apps run on third-party cloud infrastructure. The P2T Smartphone App runs on our own Australian-owned servers — the same ones your hardware radios use. That’s what makes this different.
Unlike Zello, WAVE PTX, or other app-only solutions — which run on third-party international servers — the P2T Smartphone App connects to the same Australian-owned infrastructure as your hardware. Same data sovereignty. Same uptime guarantee. Same support team.
The app is more powerful with Web Dispatcher.
The Smartphone App works on its own. But if you want GPS on a live map, duress alerts in a control room, voice recording archives, and job ticketing — that’s what Web Dispatcher unlocks.
Think of it this way: the app adds users to your P2T network. Dispatcher gives you visibility over all of them — radio users and app users — from any browser.
